As someone who spent both junior high and high school at Jingde Middle School, and who for many years ate and lived on campus, I have always had deep feelings for the school. My mother also worked there until retirement. It is fair to say that Jingde Middle School is one of the most important parts of my life memory. Since 1994, I have watched the campus change bit by bit: a new laboratory building, the back hill turned into a sports field, the old field turned into a parking lot, and so on. One day, if I have time, I will probably write a separate piece about those stories.

Today I want to talk about something else. Many years ago, around the time of the school's sixtieth anniversary, Jingde Middle School built an official website. If I remember correctly, it was developed and maintained by Teacher Sun Yinsheng. Sadly, with the rise of the mobile internet, that site also disappeared into the long river of history.

Recently, by chance, I found some snapshots of that website again, and I was genuinely excited. The image below is a screenshot of the homepage, archived on November 16, 2004: Homepage of Jingde Middle School's official website

Looking at it now, the site feels primitive and simple. But twenty years ago, it truly served as a bridge of communication for many students. The message board below is a good example: Message board of Jingde Middle School's official website

I looked through those messages. I hardly recognized the names, but the sincere affection for the alma mater was overflowing from the screen.

I selected a few of them here, so that Jingde alumni may revisit those days through these words.
